This will be a week long trail maintenance initiative on the east-MUT, starting with Fern. Primary focus is brush cutting, and trail tread repairs where needed.

All volunteers must have a approved Volunteer Service Agreement (VSA) in place.  If you had a VSA in 2025 you are covered for FS fiscal year 2026 (Oct-Sept).  Don't have a current VSA?  Complete the online form prior to the workday.

The Sam Houston Trails Coalition follows U.S. Forest Service Health and Safety Code policies when working on National Forest lands. Alcohol and firearms are prohibited during volunteer workdays.
