This is a workday to remove downed trees from the MUT trail.  Certified sawyers needed along with swampers.  We will start on the Eastside MUTs and if enough people show up we will also clear the Westside MUTs.

Bring a dirtbike/ATV, and PPE including long pants, shirt, eye/ear protection.  Also bring fluids and snacks/lunch to stay hydrated and fueled.  

All volunteers must have a approved Volunteer Service Agreement (VSA) in place.  If you had a VSA in 2025 you are covered for FS fiscal year 2026 (Oct-Sept).  Don't have a current VSA?  Complete the online form prior to the workday.

The Sam Houston Trails Coalition follows U.S. Forest Service Health and Safety Code policies when working on National Forest lands. Alcohol and firearms are prohibited during volunteer workdays.
