This First-aid/CPR course is offered by the Sam Houston Trails Coalition in collaboration with America's ER. It is in-person learning. The class is 4 hours with a hands-on assessment at the end. The certification is valid for two years.
First-Aid/CPR is mandatory for USFS Sawyer and Equipment Operator certifications, and strongly encouraged for all workday leaders. Trail volunteers are welcome to attend, space permitting. The class will be capped at 20 participants.
Note that the location has changed to the George and Cynthia Woods Library in The Woodlands. Refreshments will be provided. Bring a notebook and pen in case you want to take notes. A few folks are needed to set up the room. Arrive by 9:30 AM if you can help.
